Following the inclusion of multi-awarded Hollywood star Julia Roberts and highly acclaimed musician Joan Baez in the widely popular "girl squad" of Taylor Swift, it looks like yet another artist wants in on the group. Reports reveal that none other than Britney Spears has expressed her desire to be part of the group that included other great artists such as "X-Men" stars Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.
Apart from Taylor Swift, the original members of the "squad" are Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Lena Dunham, Jaime King and Lorde. "I love Taylor Swift," disclosed Britney Spears in an interview with E Online following her victory during the Teen Choice Awards 2015. The "I'm A Slave 4 U" singer went on to say, "I think she's adorable. I love her music. Her music makes me so happy. She's very level-headed. She's a very, very smart girl, very wise." Speaking of music, Britney Spears has been "torn" with regard the future of her career at The Axis at Planet Hollywood.
With the expiration of her contract with the entertainment outlet due soon, it appears that Britney Spears will have to make the decision to either go on with the arrangement and renew her contract, or break off from The Axis and pursue other things.
Admitting her uncertainty, Britney Spears also shared that she truly enjoys her career at the moment. However, the singer appears to be interested in other matters as well. Previous reports disclosed that Britney Spears recently landed an acting gig courtesy of her casting in the hit TV series "Jane the Virgin." She said, "I'm not really sure." The musician went on to say, "I haven't made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It's a lot, a lot of fun but I'm kind of torn right now. I don't really know what I want to do." Should Britney Spears opt out of her contract with Planet Hollywood, her final performances from the "Britney: Piece of Me" deal will see the end by the New Year's Weekend.
Apart from an acting gig, it looks like another Britney Spears single is about to hit the market as the singer revealed that she is also busy working on new tracks. She shared, "We're having fun right now." Britney Spears added, "I'm working with some women who are amazing writers. I have ballads and, of course, dance music-fun cheeky sexy stuff."
