Mr. Robot Episode 5 Recap and Spoiler Alert

USA Network's most promising TV series, Mr. Robot is gaining more and more viewers since they released the pilot 5 weeks ago. The show is now on its 5th episode and the plot is getting thick, as Malek (played by Elliot Alderson) gets into deep with his hacking skills. For those who are not updated of this new show, fair warning that this news article contains a lot of spoilers.

The new TV series has now become so popular that even Forbes magazine is writing about it. According to them, the show has failed to disappoint its viewers in showing the crime that happens in cyber space, which involves Internet security. Directed by Sam Esmail, the staff of Mr. Robot is dedicated in putting out a show that portrays a genuine image of what really takes place in the world of hackers at this current age.

The team has been working so hard when it comes to creating the character of Malek as well as someone who has troubles when it comes to socializing that he then just poured out his social anxiety to hacking. The audience would be torn whether to actually focus on Malek's reality and delusion or the technical part whenever he hacks a system and gets someone in trouble. Episode 5 gets more and more into deep with the technical matter and the show is thankful for all the help of cyber crime expert, Michael Bazzell. Episode 5 has this intriguing story about proximity cards and cloning them.

Geekwire said that the episode exposed some accurate portrayal on how cloning cards are actually done. Mr. Robot this time pretended to bump into someone who owns one and that's pretty much how he acquired a proximity card to access the area.

Catch Mr. Robot every Wednesday on USA Network at 10pm EST.
