Caitlyn Jenner's new documentary series 'I Am Cait' just premiered on Sunday. But the 1st episode is already equipped with emotional, touching scenes as she shares to the world her journey as a new free person.
The Olympian's transition received some backlash and admiration after she posted for the Vanity Fair showing her new image. But Cait's mother, Ester, kept her silence about what she thinks of her son's transition.
During the first premiere of the highly anticipated series 'I Am Cait,' Caitlyn and her mom had the most emotional time of their life as former Bruce presented himself to his mother, as Caithlyn.
Ester together with Cait's two sisters, Lisa and Pam went to Malibu, where they visited Caitlyn in her home.
As Ester saw her son as Cait, she then snuggled her daughter into her arms.
"It's OK," Caitlyn told her mother, Ester then responded, "I knew it would be.
As they sat down to hash out the bursting emotions. Esther lamented that Caitlyn never told her about her transgender issue. Then she told Cait that she "hid it very well."
Ester then admits that it would be hard for her to address her son as "she" when she will always remember her as "Bruce."
Although she admits that she's struggling with Caitlyn's transition, she still supports her daughter throughout her journey, she said, "I loved him with all my heart, and I certainly love her with all my heart."
In a private moment, Caitlyn explains to her mother why she feels it is much better that she underwent through transition than staying as Bruce, "I feel like Caitlyn fits in better into society than Bruce ever did because Bruce had to lie."
Adding to the touching moment is when Cait's younger daughter Kylie Jenner saw her for the face time through Face Time.
"I don't want to scare you," Caitlyn said.
The 17 year old 'Keeping With The Kardashians' star responded, "You're not scaring me," adding, "You look pretty!"
