Back to the Future Cast Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson Reunite

Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson the main cast of time-travelling adventure of Back to the Future movie were reunited at a convention in London to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film's release. The film hit theaters  back in July 3, 1985. Thousands of Back to the Future fans gathered at the event, and some of them dressed up like Marty McFly the skateboarding teen of the film and Dr Emmett Brown, Mcfly's inventor friend.

Michael J Fox who starred as McFly in the 1985 Back to the Future and its sequels, stated, "You're the most genuine people I've met," Fox also said, "If that's what a nerd is, then that's what Marty is too." Claudia Wells, who played Marty's girlfriend, Jennifer, in the first film, echoed the sentiment, telling ecstatic fans they were the "kindest, nicest, most warm and giving people I've ever known".

Back to the Future cast Fox, Lloyd, and Lea Thompson announced the re-release of the Back to the Future trilogy in theaters on Oct. 21, with a a special-edition DVD/Blu-ray. On Sunday, at the convention, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson took the stage with erstwhile cast mates from the Robert Zemeckis-helmed films.

The cast mates from the Robert Zemeckis-helmed films that were present at the convention were Claudia Wells (Marty's girlfriend Jennifer Parker), James Tolkan (the school principal Mr. Strickland),  Harry Waters Jr. (bandleader Marvin Berry), Donald Fullilove (aspiring politician Goldie Wilson), Marc McClure (Marty's brother, Dave), Jeffrey Weissman (Cripsin Glover's replacement as George McFly in the two sequels), Ricky Dean Logan (who played Data in Part II and a Needles gang member in Part III), and Frances Lee McCain (Lorraine's mom, Stella Baines).

Lea Thompson recalled her most memorable scene in the Back to the Future film, Thompson said, "That whole sequence was really important... I remember how nervous Bob Z. [Zemeckis] was because these were big plot points that we had to sell with acting," Thompson said. "And I got to kiss Michael, so that was good times!"
