Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation - Tom Cruise's Crazy Airplane Stunt

Tom Cruise has outdone his previous movies by doing a crazy airplane stunt for Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. Tom Cruise dares himself as he dangles off an airplane as it took off. The 53-year-old Golden Globe winner's new movie Mission: Impossible will hit theaters on July 31.

Wade Eastwood, the Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation stunt coordinator, said, "You can't hang a multimillion-dollar star on the outside of an airplane and fly around in a normal world, but Tom wanted to be on the outside of that plane."

As Tom Cruise recalled the airplane stunt experience, the actor wants his fans to know that there was no acting involved when he did it. The stunt itself had his face make a terrified expression.

Tom Cruise stated, "If something went wrong, I can't get into the airplane until we land," Tom also said, "I'm feeling the force of the wind hit me. I'm actually scared s**tless."

After Cruise performed the stunt safely, the actor did it again, and had a change of pants on deck. David Vickery, the visual effects supervisor said that he thought it was just a one-take scene, but Cruise did the stunt eight times.

In the film's behind the scene there was no green screened plane door lifted a foot off the ground, but Tom Cruise was actually harnessed up and the actor held on tightly to the side of a plane launching off the ground.

The fifth installment of the film dubbed as Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt and his IMF team are tasked to eradicate the Syndicate, an international rogue organization with a mission to destroy the IMF.

Tom Cruise is dedicated to his work, and that goes to show that the Mission Impossible franchise has always excelled with stunt work and Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation promises the stunts are going to be breath taking.
