James Bond: Agent 007 Goes Musical

James Bond: The Musical, is in the works, with plans to open on Broadway or in Las Vegas as early as 2017, and is being produced by Merry Saltzman. Merry Saltzman  is the daughter of the late Harry Saltzman, the Bond films producer. No words were out yet regarding the casting of the musical show, but producer Merry Saltzman stated that the James Bond musical will introduce "our own Bond girl," and also it will include "several Bond villains, plus some new ones".

The singing James Bond's idea might be a little peculiar, but it's surprising that no one has tried it before , onsidering the film franchise has been around for decades. After all, the soundtrack of the James Bond does make a key role in the film, this includes theme songs like, Shirley Bassey's "Goldfinger," Paul McCartney's "Live and Let Die," and Adele's "Skyfall."

Jay Henry Weisz,  a country music composer will feature original songs in the James Bond: The Musical.

James Bond: The Musical producers will ensure a big spectacular opening in Las Vegas, similar to the disaster-plagued 2011 musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

Merry Saltzman said that the musical play could either open in Las Vegas or New York's Broadway, and Saltzman also said that the, "production schedules and trial runs are still being worked out in anticipation of a late 2017 - early 2018 opening."

James Bond has a series of 14 novels published from 1953 to 1966, the charismatic British Secret Service Agent 007 was created by Ian Fleming. Agent 007 who will defeat Britain's enemies by using seemingly limitless intellectual, financial and physical resources, and at the same time romancing a bevy of beautiful women.

The James Bond novels still continue to this day, where it inspired a series of internationally successful Bond films, including "Goldfinger," "Dr. No," "Casino Royale" and "You Only Live Twice."

And Spectre is the 24th James Bond film in the series which stars Daniel Craig and Christoph Waltz, and is scheduled to be released on 6 November 2015.
