Ben Affleck Ditches Wedding Ring in Appearances Post Split

Ben Affleck has ditched his wedding ring after his split with Jennifer Garner was announced on June 30. The former couple are back to work after spending their 10th wedding anniversary with their three kids in a family vacation in the Bahamas.

People reported that Affleck flew back to Los Angeles on July 3 to promote his upcoming film, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" at the Comic-Con in San Diego last weekend.

The "Argo" director was spotted not wearing his ring during the 4th of July weekend while hitting Starbucks in L.A.

On the same day, Garner left their Bahamas home and flew straight to Atlanta with their kids, 9-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina, and 3-year-old Samuel. The "Alias" actress is currently shooting "Miracles From Heaven," a bible-based film.

Whether or not it's part of her role, sources told People that she was still wearing her ring.

Before their divorce, Affleck told Playboy in 2013 that Garner has been a very supportive wife. "Getting to know her, falling in love with her and being connected with her gave me a foundation to reach out and say, Okay, I'm going to do Hollywoodland, I'm going to direct Gone Baby Gone," he said. "Over the past 10 years she has allowed me to have a stable home life while accomplishing my professional goals."

The Oscar winner's "workaholic" and "stubborn" attitude was among the strongest factors of their split.

Upon realizing that their relationship is no longer working, the Daredevil co-stars spent their last days of marriage and wedding anniversary with the kids in their Baker's Bay home in Bahamas.

"They both battled, and he really battled to try and save the marriage but ultimately it was the best thing for the kids and for him and Jen," a source told People. "They plan on co-parenting and doing absolutely everything in the best interest of the kids."

While Jen gets support from her very close friends who protects her, Ben relies on his mother through this devastating time.
