Before Amber Heard filmed the lap-dancing scene in Magic Mike XXL, she did nott really understand why Channing Tatum was so apologetic. All through her lap-dancing scene with Channing Tatum, Amber Heard couldn't stop laughing.
Amber the 29-year-old actress stars with the hunky actor Channing Tatum in Magic Mike XXL. In a specific scene Tatum gave Amber's character an elaborate erotic dance and Amber Heard accepted that she got a real shocked when it came to filming the sequence of the lap dance.
At a press conference for the movie, Amber Heard told Vanity Fair: "In rehearsal, they only showed me like the polite, half-speed version of that dance," Amber added: "I didn't see it for real until I was in hair and make-up and 1,000 screaming extras were surrounding me . . . So a lot of my facial reactions were genuine. I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. It was fun."
As the scene showed, Tatum threw Amber over his shoulder and danced with her legs hung around his hips.
Magic Mike XXL female cast are Amber Heard, Andie MacDowell and Jada Pinkett Smith, and the male cast members are Channing, Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez and Joe Manganiello.
Amber Heard remembers how Channing the 21 Jump Street star called her up personally if she's up to take on the part of Zoe. But Amber couldn't understand why Tatum was so uncertain with his requests, when Tatum explained what he wanted her to do
Amber Heard said, "When I first talked to Channing on the phone about a certain scene, he was so apologetic," Amber also added, "His voice was so cautionary and polite. He was like, 'Would you be O.K. with, uh, it's like a lap dance that I have to give you. It's a big deal."
Amber later knew that she wasn't the one doing the stripping. Although, that information calmed Amber until filming day.
Amber said, "So I'm just sitting there?" she remembers asking Channing. "Well how bad could it be? And then I found out."
