Miley Cyrus Will ‘Need To Have This Macho Energy’ When Dating Women [PHOTOS]

In light of her Happy Hippie Foundation's newly launched #InstaPride campaign on Monday, Miley Cyrus talked about her sexuality, dating, and how she's steering away from her well known Disney status.

In an interview with Time magazine, Miley opened up on growing up in Nashville and how sexually curious girls always came to her. "They all wanted to experiment. I was always the one."

Cyrus also talked about her past relationships with men, saying that there's an "overly macho energy" - which she did not approve of. "That made me feel like I had to be a femme-bot, which I'm not," Miley said.

"And then when I was with a girl, I felt like, 'Oh s-t, she's going to need someone to protect her, so I'm going to need to have this macho energy.' And that didn't feel right either," the "Wrecking Ball" singer added.

Miley attributes her beliefs on relationships, gender and sexuality to her parents. "I don't associate men and protection necessarily. I think that's what's given me the openness of sexuality," said Liam Hemsworth's ex-fiancée.

"Not that my dad wasn't an awesome protector, but I trust my mom to save me. She's the prince. I never had that fairy tale," she added.

Although sex and nudity are terms often tied with the former "Hannah Montana" star, Miley says that looking for a partner to be in a relationship with is more than just sex.

"F-king is easy. You can find someone to f-k in five seconds. We want to find someone we can talk to. And be ourselves with. That's fairly slim pickings," Cyrus cited.

Miley also talked about future suitors, saying: "If I end up in a straight relationship, that's fine. But I'm not going to be with f-king slob guys who are watching porn, making all their girls feel ugly."

While Miley Cyrus seems to be so desperate to shake off her Disney persona, she explains the real reason behind her outrageous skin-baring outfits. "I'm using it as a power stance. It's funny to see people try to look me in the eye."

Cyrus is determined to make people aware of being comfortable in their own skin. "Maybe if you're finally getting to be yourself, it's more of a celebration. Like, you are living your f-king life," "The Last Song" actress said.
