Fans of 'Call of Duty' and 'Halo' have long been in debate on which shooter game is the best of all time. One YouTube user has taken it a step further and made a skit based on these two popular franchises.
Danny and Michael Philippou, the people behind the YouTube channel RackaRacka uploaded 'Halo VS Call of Duty' on May 25. As of publishing, the video has garnered over 3 million views and is making the rounds in forums and social media.
The video starts off with a group of friends seemingly playing a harmless game of Call of Duty. Things start to get chaotic when one of the guys makes a remark about how bad Halo on the Xbox One is.
Master Chief then invades their home and starts a battle with the group, which even resulted in their grandmother and cat being blown to bits.
Hardcore gamers will be able to recognize the various references made to both CoD and Halo in the video, from plasma grenades to killstreak rewards, machine guns, energy swords, juggernaut suits and Nazi zombies.
The video seems to conclude that Call of Duty 'wins' over Master Chief, but viewers will have to watch until the last second to see the real ending.
There may never be a definite answer to which game is better, but one thing gamers can agree upon is how they're all excited for new installments and updates.
'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' has just been confirmed for a November 6 launch, while a new 'Advanced Warfare' DLC featuring Bruce Campbell is now available for download.
On the other hand, a new version of 'Halo 5: Guardians' will be released for the Xbox One on October 27. According to Frank O'Connor of 343 Industries, they will see to it that the same mistake they did in 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' will not be committed again.
