E3 Adds Ten More Developers to First Ever PC Gaming Show

Earlier this month, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the video gaming industry's biggest annual event, announced that for the first time in show history, a portion of the event would be dedicated specifically to game developers who primarily focus on PC games.

The Initial line-up included gaming purveyors from all across the industry. It included huge names like Blizzard Entertainment (creators of MMORPG World of Warcraft),Square Enix (creators of the Final Fantasy series),to smaller independent studios like Cloud Imperium Games which is the start-up studio behind the biggest crowd funded project in history,The Star Citizen. PC Gamer Magazine, one of the sponsors behind the PC gaming showcase, reports that more studios have been added to the roster of presenters.

Some of the recently announced names include Guild Wars developer Arenanet and The Creative Assembly, makers of the hugely popular Total War Franchise.

Considered by gaming fans and industry professionals as a video gaming's marquee event, E3 is where the biggest players in the industry make their biggest announcements. The Expo is where Industry titans like Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft detail their upcoming plans to the gaming community. Though PC games and their developers have been showcased at the conference in the past, this year's E3 will mark the first time PC gaming will have its own dedicated show.

The 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo takes place from June 16-18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
