‘Peter Pan Live’ Charlie Williams is the Man Behind the Croc!

"Peter Pan Live" of NBC features a crocodile character. But who's beyond that croc costume anyway? The unusual croc painted with different attractive colors gathered more attention of audiences and far from what was expected.

It is Charlie Williams wearing the costume! Rob Ashford convinced Williams to wear the funny and attention-grabbing costume, according to the assistant choreographer of the "Peter Pan Live" show. It is Ashford who is the director of the show who also said that he is preparing a very fun role for Williams. Well, the latter didn't expect that he will be wearing costume all throughout the show. But at least, he is the center of attention.

"I was anxious at first because I wanted to participate in other fun parts, but it worked out great," Williams said. He will not only wear one reptile suit, but 10 more! Just imagine that effort of Williams just to entertain audiences. During the broadcast, Williams was an islander then a pirate. He was also with the mermaids as their partner in the lagoon. That was a very busy and tiring night for him.

If you think that croc's costume is not comfortable, well you're right! Williams explained and shared his experience without seeing anyone and everything while wearing the costume and all he have to do was to just listen to the sounds that he can possible hear around him. He was looking for landmarks of Neverland that will serve his guide on stage. Williams said, "It certainly was a difficult task, but it was a great experience for me!"

The costume was really bulky and very hot inside. He also needs to wear a helmet. "It's not the thing you would wear around town, but I had a great time doing it," he added. Allison Williams is playing the role of Peter Pan, while one the other hand, Christopher Walken is playing the role of Captain Hook.
