‘Green Day’ Jason White Diagnosed with Cancer: The Guitarist’s Bandmates said He’ll Recover Soon!

Green Day recently announced that Jason White, their guitarist was diagnosed with cancer. But that won't be the reason to be panicked because the tonsil cancer is treatable through the routine called tonsillectomy.

The "American Idiot" band also said that they are very thankful and glad that White's condition is able to caught very early. Thus, it makes this very possible that White can recover faster.

On their official Facebook page, White's bandmates stated:

 "We have some news to report regarding our brother Jason White, and wanted you to hear it from us before word spread. Jason recently underwent a routine tonsillectomy, and his doctors discovered a treatable form of tonsil cancer. Thankfully they caught it early and he should make a full and speedy recovery."

So far, no reports yet on what would be the next plan of Jason White or further details about him.

Jason White decided to join "Green Day" band year 1999 as the touring member and it was year 2012 when he was made as official member of the group. The 1987 band was nominated recently as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

According to the report of Guardian, "Green Day" will be soon releasing their latest album. The lead man of the band posted a photo having a caption that reads, "Green Day 15" with the caption "I'm in a hardware store in Queens. And this is on my mind."

Will this be the sign that fans should get started about it? Well, they should because knowing "Green Day" they are always excited to present their albums for their fans to enjoy. The "Green Day" band is scheduled to be inducted on April 2015 into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
