Apple's Personal Assistant Siri Won't Answer Your Questions If You're Not Subscribed To Apple Music

Just recently, it was found that Apple's personal assistant Siri won't answer several questions if the user has not yet subscribed to Apple Music.

The initial release of Siri back in 2011 changed the perception of most people concerning some of the Apple's devices. The computer program known as a personal assistant and knowledge navigator offered a lot of help for iPhone and iPad users because of its ability to provide quick answers.

However, the helpful personal assistant seems gone. Siri now requires Apple Music subscription before she answers the question of users. Tom Conrad of Pandora is one of the person who first observed the said issue.

When Tom asked Siri about the most popular song in the US, Siri replied:

"Sorry, Tom, I can't look up the music charts for you. You don't seem to be subscribed to Apple Music."

As a proof, Tom tweeted the whole experience and stated that Siri is not answering any question about music unless a subscription to Apple Music is done.

Ben Popper of the Verge also asked the intelligent computer program about the number one song in the US back in March 1983, and he received the same answer with Tom.

However, various individuals have commented that even if they are already subscribers of the Apple Music, same results will pop up if they ask the said question. It can be understood that Siri gets the majority of its music knowledge from Apple Music.

It can be remembered that the launching of Apple Music last summer made Siri more useful and helpful as the user can already find and like songs and even queue up "What's Next."

As what others have said, Apple seems to be pushing the users to pay the Apple Music subscription after the end of the three-month trial. The Verge is now reaching out to the Apple Company for comments.
