Earlier this year, the non-comic book reading world was introduced to The Vision, played by Paul Bettany (in his second role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after voicing J.A.R.V.I.S. from the very start), as the character made its big screen debut on "Avengers: Age of Ultron" - now, the latest "Captain America: Civil War" news see the British actor dishing on the upcoming film!
The third installment of Steve Rogers' story has been called a sort of "Avengers" film, as it features a good portion of the cast of the superhero group, including Bettany, Robert Downey Jr. and even Tom Holland making his Spider-Man debut - and each bit of "Captain America: Civil War" news gets more and more interesting.
According to Heroic Hollywood, Bettany appeared on the AsiaPop convention this week to talk about his involvement in the MCU, and of course, there were plenty of people asking for some "Captain America: Civil War" news - or the little he can talk about, anyway.
"He must be both omnipotent and yet totally naive at the same time. And experiencing the world in real time and his place in it. Is he going to be a force of good or a force of evil?" said Bettany on the latest "Captain America: Civil War" news, Cinema Blend reports. "It was really interesting, fun to play with, because he is dangerous, you do not know if he's going to go one way or another. And I'm continuing that theme in Captain America 3."
Interestingly enough, only a few days back Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch in the MCU and will also star in the 2016 film, similarly said in recent "Captain America: Civil War" news that her own character was a "wild card" in the films because of how powerful she is and her very faint allegiances.
Bleeding Cool reports that Bettany also noted that filming the "Captain America" sequel was also considerably more fun than shooting "Avengers: Age of Ultron," as he was more comfortable with the rest of the cast.
More "Captain America: Civil War" news coming up soon!
