Mel Gibson Accused Of Pushing And Spitting At Female Photographer

Mel Gibson reportedly attacked a Daily Telegraph photographer outside a cinema in Sydney on Sunday, shortly after she took pictures of the actor and his girlfriend Rosalind Ross while leaving a movie theater.

The photographer, Kristi Miller, took snapshots of the 59-year-old actor together with his girlfriend leaving an Australian-Israeli Film Festival when Gibson allegedly pushed and verbally abused her.

"I thought he was going to punch me in the face," Miller told the Daily Telegraph. "He was spitting in my face as he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I'm not even a human being and I will go to hell. He swore and called me a c**t. It was non-stop, he didn't even breathe."

Miller said Gibson yelled at her saying that she is "invading" his space and "disrespecting" him by taking photographs.

"I took a photo of Mel and his girlfriend and when I turned around he shoved my back really hard," Miller recalled. "It shocked me because I wasn't expecting it. I don't know if it was his hands or elbow."

Police are investigating the incident. Through a statement a spokesperson said, "About 6.20 last night a man became involved in an altercation with a photographer outside a cinema on Oxford Street Paddington and allegedly pushed the female photographer."

According to Miller, the actor's tirade ended when his girlfriend intervened and she apologized to the photographer for the assault.

But Gibson's representative strongly denied the allegation. The spokesperson told the Gossip Cop there was "no assault" and the photographer is the one "harassing" the actor and Ross. The 'Braveheart' star was annoyed and told Miller to "get a real job."

In 2011, Gibson, was charged with domestic violence for slapping his ex- girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, who is the mother of daughter Lucia.
