Kanye West' fans seem to be tired of waiting for the release of his new album.
A petition posted in The White House's 'We The People' that involves Kanye West' name was shut down by the White House, for violating terms of participation.
A petition was started this week, asking US President Obama to use his power to order the release of Kanye West' seventh album, 'Swish.'
According to Billboard, the petition read, "Kanye West has kept us thirsty for too long. We haven't gotten any new singles in months."
"The President should order Ye to drop the album on the date August, 21st [sic] as his producer Mike Dean has been teasing people about."
Obama's administration is required to respond to all petitions that have gained 100,000 signatures within 30 days, as part of the site's Terms of Participation.
The petition quickly garnered thousands of signature just hours after it was posted. But it was shut down by the White House in the middle of Wednesday afternoon, claiming that it violated the terms of participation and was removed from the site.
Although the petition claimed that "Mike Dean has been teasing people" about West' 'Swish.' The date of the released was actually not officially announce by Kanye's team. In an interview, Dean said, Kanye West' seventh album is in progress, ha told Montreality, "whenever Kanye says it's done, it's done."
It was in May when Kanye announced to his Twitter the new name of his album 'Swish' after changing it from 'So Help Me God.'
"I'm changing my album name to SWISH," Kanye tweeted.
"I might change it again,"West tweeted again, "but that's the name now."
Although the latest album hasn't any exact released date, the singer already debuted some of its tracks, including 'Only One' and 'All Day.'
