Late last month, as Us Weekly reported, the actor announced on the show that Alfonso Ribeiro's wife was expecting the couple's second child - and he did so on the first birthday of their son Alfonso, named after his daddy.
While it'll be the second child he'll have with Alfonso Ribeiro's wife, he has a daughter, Sienna, from his previous marriage to Robin Stapler - they split amicably and share custody of the 12 year-old girl, who was even a flower girl at his wedding with Angela.
According to People Magazine, it's no surprise that the couple decided on having another child so soon - not long ago, Alfonso had publicly said that they wanted to have another kid as soon as possible, and he gushed about how much he loved baby Alfonso, talking about the big difference between having a girl and a boy.
"But I'm really seeing the difference between 'Daddy's little girl' and 'Mama's little boy,'" he told the magazine "My son is really attached to his mama, and my daughter was really attached to me. I think that's just the way things go."
After publicly announcing that Alfonso Ribeiro's wife was expecting a little brother or sister for baby Alfonso (both of them were at the audience that night), now he faces his biggest challenge yet: the "Dancing with the Stars" finale!
