Where Retired Military Personnel Can Get Meals For Free

Different businesses and restaurants have come up with a way to celebrate Veteran's Day as they gave the retired military personnel things for free! We have listed the establishments that veterans could go to during this annual celebration.

First is Hooters, and no, it's not free lap dances or anything of that sort as the establishment noted that they will be giving free food to both active and retired military men and women and are also encouraging these guys again to participate in the upcoming 2015 Operation Calendar drop program.

The program is said to focus on guests purchasing and personalizing a Hooters calendar with a message directed to the military troops. These calendars will then be shipped overseas to those men and women serving the country abroad.

Next is the Applebee's, they are also giving out free meals that include seven courses to choose from as well as beverages.

The third is Bob Evans, which is known for hot cakes, so they are giving out an "eat-all-you-can" kind of set-up for those veterans and you must bring your IDs or proof of serving the country.

California Pizza Kitchen will also let the vets choose either a pizza, a pasta, or a salad for the annual Veteran's Day event.

Chili's also opened their restaurant for the vets as these personnel can choose one of the seven meals served during dinner or a lunch combo while Denny's has offered vets to build their own "Grand Slam" from five in the morning. Active, inactive and retired military personnel are encouraged to participate.

Krispy Kreme is also giving free doughnuts and a small coffee for both retired and active military personnel and Outback Steakhouse is giving out their specialty "Bloomin' Onion" plus a non-alcoholic drink.

Red Lobster also opened their doors as vets can get a free appetizer from their special menu from November 10-13. Starbucks gives away a free tall brewed coffee for those who are still active in the military, for the retired and for the spouses of the vets as well.

Lastly, Bar Louie has offered their free meals that could cost up to $12 if and when the vets have proof that they have been in the military.

Participating establishments advice those who wish to get a free meal or drink from them to call ahead in order to confirm.
