Dumb And Dumber To Release Date: Lloyd And Harry Returns To U.S Theaters This Weekend [VIDEO]

"Dumb and Dumber To" release date in U.S. theaters happens on Nov. 14.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reunite after 20 years in the sequel of the 1994 film, "Dumb and Dumber". Lloyd Christmas (Carrey) and Harry Dunes (Daniels) will come back to set the theaters in bursting laughter for "Dumb and Dumber To" release date this coming weekend on Nov. 14.

20 years after the first adventure of the two kind-hearted but hilariously stupid friends, the duo will take on another epic and outrageous journey this time finding the Harry's daughter which he learned was sent for adoption.

In the movie trailer, Harry visits Lloyd who has been in a mental institution after his heart breaking experience with Mary Swanson from "Dumb and Dumber". Harry, being a truly loyal friend consistently visits Lloyd in the hospital trying to bring back his old friend. After two decades, Harry will find out that Lloyd was only making everything up and faking the situation.

The "Dumb and Dumber To" release date will be a much-awaited time for the first movie's fans. The movie will bring back the characters that turned stupidity to plain funny. Nothing has changed. They still sport the same attire with Lloyd's gray jacket and trousers, perfectly cut full bangs, and Harry with his loose denim and jacket outfit and that messy hair.

Nothing has changed except that Harry discovered he is a father but the child was given up for adoption. When Lloyd saw the photo of his daughter, he gets a gush of romantic feelings for her and instantly for a crush on her. The two then heads out on another bizarre adventure to track her down and finally meet this girl.

The come-back film is also a reunion with the Farrelly brothers, Bobby and Peter, who wrote and directed both the 1994 and 2014 movies. In an interview featured by The Hollywood Reporter, the brothers were asked the reason it took so long of getting a sequel to the 1994 film and finally get to the "Dumb and Dumber To" release date.

"We probably would have done this a number of times over the last 20 years just because we love the first one, we love working with those guys, we have such respect for those two actors and we love the characters, but it was just a matter of getting everyone in line at the right time. And finally, after 20 years, it just seemed to have taken place."

The brothers told that Carrey after watching "Dumb and Dumber" in a hotel called them and told that "we got to do another one".

"Dumb and Dumber To" release date in U.S. will be simultaneous with Canada. It was first shown in the Virginia Film Festival in Nov. 7.
