"Dancing with the Stars" contenders Lea Thompson, Actress, and Sadie Robertson, host, were both voted off one week before the semifinal ends. During the competition each of the contestants need to execute two dances. On the first chosen dance the contestant will perform together with professional partner. They need to complete it with grace and style.
The dancers will be judged according to their projection, costume, and music. The second dance would be the contestant itself, pro partner, and third person would be the eliminated pro dancer. However, if the contestant prefers to choose with the show's troupe dancer then he can do that as well.
Unfortunately both Thompson, 53, and Robertson were in great trouble of going home. However, despite that fact Thompson said the she is still happy and very proud that she is able to reach this point. After she learned that she will be going home tonight, she hugged Artem Chigvintsev, her pro partner. She complimented him as well, "I just I love this man. And he's a new pro here and I think he did a great job with me."
Referring to ABC family, Thompson said "I just feel really great ... I feel strong and I'm anxious to get back to my day job on 'Switched at Birth'." Many fans of Thompson were not just surprised but shocked about her exit because she really improved a lot all throughout the season and it's very unfortunate of losing her on the show especially that it's near towards the grand finals. During the announcements, fans from audience were shouting of disbelief.
On the other hand, Tommy Chong, comedian, together with his partner Peta Murgatroyd were both surprised and glad to know that they are safe from the elimination night. The two will be preparing for the finals since they are already in! Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Janel Parrish won the immunity right after they earned the perfect score from their contemporary routine last Nov. 3. Because of this, they are also both out of danger from elimination.
The five other stars will be back on Nov. 17 to contend and get the spot to be able to compete for the finals.
