In a recent event, Miley Cyrus' dress made headlines, as the "Bangerz" star barely covered up at all to walk around the red carpet.
However, Miley Cyrus' dress wasn't the only outfit that had heads turning: Rihanna, famous for her scantly cloth outfits, also showed up at the same event wearing a show-all kind of dress ... it's almost as though the two pop stars had planned everything!
While Rihanna's outfits had heads turning at the recent 2014 amfAR Los Angeles Inspiration Gala event, Miley Cyrus' dress was certainly the one that took the most attention, as she was wearing much less clothing. The "Hannah Montana" star's black and S&M-esque dress showed all of the blonde beauty's curves.
According to Bellanaija, the 2014 amfAR Los Angeles Inspiration Gala is an event that celebrates men's fashion and style, all while raising funds for life-saving AIDS research programs, sponsored by the very same amfAR organization. This year, it was held at Milk Studios in Hollywood, according to The Huffington Post.
Tom Ford designed both Rihanna and Miley Cyrus' dresses, and the famous designer was also one of the night's honorees. While the one he designed for Miley seemed like something Dita von Teese might have worn in a photo shoot, Rihanna's white dress, while showing a lot of skin, seemed more reminiscent of 1920s fashion, looking like something Josephine Baker might have worn back in the day.
The images of Miley Cyrus' dress, along with Rihanna's, have driven the media wild since the first news came out. E! Online even features a poll in its website, asking navigators "Who wore it less."
It seems that, although Rihanna has taken the spotlight before for wearing less clothes than what could be allowed in primetime television, this was really Miley's night - and she seemed more than confident sporting her sexy all-skin outfit!
The star-studded event also included host Gwyneth Paltrow, plus other shining personalities Kelly Osbourne, Lea Michele, Eddie Redmayne - and the lady of pin-up herself, Dita Von Teese.
