This week, Bonnie and Damon are just a few steps away from uncovering the truth about their isolation in the past dimension. Julie Plec already hinted on Twitter that the truth is related to Damon's past. "'It's been fifteen years, Damon.' Why? Tune in tonight," Plec wrote on Twitter suggesting that something happened to Damon 15 years ago and that something is what's keeping him and Bonnie stuck in the same date. After dismissing Caroline's feelings as though they haven't been through a lot together, Stefan will focus on helping Elena heal and move on in tonight's episode. A sneak peek to the brand new episode even shows the former lovers on the outskirts of town enjoying a few drinks. Spoilers revealed that Stefan will help Elena cope up with her loss and even teach her his "system" in ditching an old life and starting anew without feeling the pain anymore. "Prove to me that your system works," Elena tells Stefan in a teaser clip. "If I believe that you actually are happy, then I'll let you go. But if I don't buy it -- which I probably won't -- I will keep harassing you until you come home, and I'm talking about like Enzo-sized harassment."
