Albino buck 11 year old - an 11 year old makes the biggest kill this season after he hunts down an ultra rare albino buck in what is becoming the most talked about kill of the season.
The rare albino buck deer is very rare and has only been positively spotted by few people. Gavin Dingman from Oceola township, hunted down the rare deer just two weeks ago after going hunting with his father. Gavin has been hunting with his father for long and has even grown better at it. He killed the albino buck with just his crossbow. And the kill has made young Gavin very popular. "He kind of feels like a rock star right now. Everyone is calling, all of the hunting shows and hunting magazines," Mick Dingman, Gavin's father said.
The Dingmans had spotted the rare buck several times before. The whole Oceola neighborhood has even spotted the deer and plenty of hunters around have been trying to hunt it down themselves. However, it was the 11 year old Gavin who got the buck.
Mick Dingman said Gavin and his brother Graham, 13, were actually arguing over dinner over whose turn it was to go hunting with their father. Thankfully, Gavin consented.
During the hunt, the 11 year old saw the buck and decided to attempt the kill. His father was beside him. "My dad was just like, 'Take a deep breath. Are you sure you can take the shot? If you're not 100 percent, we don't want to injure it," the young star recalled.
Gavin took a deep breath and made the shot from thirty yards away. The shot was true. He double lunged the deer.
The albino buck is very rare. Naturalists declare that the birth of one occurs between one in 20,000 births and 1 in 100,000 births, depending on the season.
Gavin is having a full deer mount from his taxidermist to have the deer as a reminder of his success.
