Brantley Gilbert is engaged. Just a bit over a year after Brantley Gilbert’s high profile engagement to Jana Kramer, the singer is celebrating another engagement to his longtime home girl. Brantley Gilbert is quite the singer. With a legion of fans who have all been clamoring to get a taste of the singer, the Brantley broke the hearts of thousands of girls when he announced his engagement to a special girl he has yet to name, but says has been in his life for over ten years. Brantley revealed last Tuesday that he’s engaged. The 29 year old Georgia native told syndicated radio program The Bobby Bones Show, “It was one of those things that was on and off for few years – mostly on – and then she was the one that got away for about five years." He added that she’s the one and that she makes him happy. “I'm a pretty stoked dude. I'm pretty excited to say the least," he went on. “You'll hear her in most of my songs," said the singer. He said this pointing to his 2012 tune More than Miles where the lyrics go “Cause the girl’s in every song I sing, She’s in every song I write, and that six string riding in her seat, won’t keep me warm at night.” On questioning over who was the mystery girl, Gilbert was reluctant to share her identity. He did, however, reveal that the lady was a teacher. "She teaches schools about a mile up the road from my house and it's an awesome thing," he said. She apparently loves to teach. For anyone who would like to know more about the mystery engagement girl, the songs ‘You Don’t Know Her Like I Do’, ‘Hell on an Angel’ and ‘Halfway to Heaven’ may offer some insights. Brantley’s first engagement was to ‘Love’ singer Jana Kramer that ended abruptly in 2013. Since the high profile breaking of the engagement, Gilbert has remained silent and away from the public.
