Twin Cities couple Hannah Bullerman and Alex Hoffman found love thanks to a Grubhub delivery and a dash of courage. Bullerman, craving some fried pickle and wing goodness when she called out of work with a migraine, got more than just a tasty snack when her delivery driver called her to come pick up her food from the lobby of her building.
Love At First Delivery
During an interview on the Drew Barrymore Show last month, she told the hostess, "So I went down there, and I'm walking down the stairs, and I see him, and I say, 'Oh no ... he's cute, he's so cute, and I am not cute. But I saw him there, and I thought, and I got to meet him. And I got my food and a little extra."
Bullerman took a chance and texted him a cheeky message later that evening, saying, "I hope your day is as nice as your face."
Alex, ever the charmer, played along with some cheesy jokes, proving he wasn't just delivering food but relationship goals on a silver platter. It turns out that neither of them was looking for love, but fate had other plans in store.
A Proposal, a Wedding, and Two Major Surprises
Fast forward to a romantic proposal and an upcoming May 2025 wedding, and Grubhub surprised the couple with a $5,000 wedding gift! The couple also received a free honeymoon trip to Fiji courtesy of The Drew Barrymore Show!
