Calling all cashew lovers! There's a quick heads up for folks with food allergies who recently bought Great Value Honey Roasted Cashews at Walmart. The company is recalling a limited number of their 8.25-ounce bags because they might contain surprise ingredients - coconut and milk!
Why Are Cashews Under Recall?
Someone found coconut cashews in a bag labeled as honey roasted! Apparently, a mix-up happened at the factory. Now, the mislabeled cashews are under recall. Here's what you need to know:
- The Recall: Great Value Honey Roasted Cashews (8.25 oz plastic can with a blue label)
- Look for: UPC code 078742133348 and an expiration date of "Best if Used By July 8, 2025, GH2" on the bottom of the can.
- Where They Were Sold: This recall applies to cashews sold at Walmart stores in Alabama, Arkansas, California, and many more (see the full list in the article). The product was also sold online at Walmart.com.
- What to Do: If you have these cashews at home and have a coconut or milk allergy, don't munch on them! Throw them away or return them to Walmart for a full refund. If you don't have these allergies, you should be good to go.
