Live Your Anime Dream At “WcDonald's” For A Limited Time!

McDonald's is turning into anime wonderland "WcDonald's" for a limited time! Participating locations are rolling out some ani-mazing experiences, including limited-edition menu items, WcDonald's themed anime shorts, and WcDonald's store redesigns.

What's WcDonald's?

McDonald's is transforming into the fantastic anime world of "WcDonald's," starting February 26th. What's WcDonald's, you ask? It is a cheeky fictional take on The House of Clown that's appeared in popular anime cartoons like Cat's Eye, InuYasha, Otaku Elf, Sonic X, My Love Story, and Gintama. This campaign is a loving tribute to anime fans worldwide! It also shows that Ronald McDonald's been paying attention to how he's been lampooned by animakers, and he loves it!

Savory Chili WcDonald's WcNugget Sauce

WcDonald's is launching a hot new dipping sauce to mark the occasion. We are totally stoked to try Savory Chili WcDonald's Sauce! After the craze caused by Rick and Morty when they partnered with the Golden Arches for their yummy Szechuan Sauce relaunch, how could we not? This sauce boasts big flavors, including ginger, garlic, soy, and a hint of chili flakes. It comes with a 10-piece "WcNuggets" (aka McNuggets) purchase. Hai, please!

First-Ever WcDonald's Anime!

Four original anime shorts were produced in collaboration with the outstanding anime studio Pierrot! A new episode drops every week exploring the WcDonaldverse. Action, romance, humor, giant robots, and a slew of other classic anime tropes will be featured in each short.

The IRL WcDonald's Experience

WcDonald's is also launching a live immersive dining experience in LA. The installation drops you smack dab into a fully remodeled WcDonald's and includes 360-degree projections and anime-inspired design elements.

Celebrate Anime Fan Art With WcDonald's

McDonald's recognized that anime has been a global force for creativity for decades. The amount of anime fan art that appears online today is immense! I mean, even Britney Spears was posting her kids' anime doodles to social media. To that end, they are subsidizing three up-and-coming anime artists who'll receive grants and mentorship to help launch their artistic endeavors.

Don't miss out on this chance to experience the magic of Wcdonald's starting February 26th! You can check out the new WcDonald's site for news about anime-related drops or follow the hashtag #WcDonalds for more news.
