  • 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of Cardamom

  • 1 teaspoon of Powdered Ginger

  • ½ teaspoon of clove

  • 6 to 8 pieces of dried dates that are soaked in water

  • Your preference of Bourbon

  • Cinnamon sticks to serve as a garnish

Procedure:

1. Start by blending all of the ingredients (except for the Bourbon) in a power blender, and then pour the mixture into a small saucepan.

2. Heat the mixture over low heat and then add 4 to 6 ounces of Bourbon into the pot, depending on your preference.

3. After heating, remove from the fire and pour the mixture into a set of glasses.

4. Finish this drink off with a garnish of cinnamon sticks.

In case you prefer this drink cold, you can omit the heating process and shake it hard in a cocktail shaker. You can serve it in champagne glasses with a cinnamon or sugar rim on the glass.
