Adam Levine turned 37 last Friday and if you're wondering how the super-star celebrated, he didn't make it by throwing a mega-bash in Istanbul with a bunch of Victoria Secret models or by going on an unusual escape to some stunning tropical island rather he went through the day with solo reflection and a whole cake.
Levine is an American artist, musician, multi-instrumentalist and actor. He is the lead vocalist for the well-known Los Angeles pop rock band Maroon 5.
His wife, Behati Prinsloo, shared a charming little birthday 'gram in his honor. In his subtitle, Adam clarified that he spent his birthday alone, eating cake in bed. Evidently, it was one of the best birthdays he's ever had according to Buzzfeed.
"For my birthday yesterday I sat in bed all day with the shades drawn eating this cake completely alone," he captioned an Instagram shot of the half-eaten dessert and a two-layered platter of chocolate truffles.
However, before you go feeling frustrated about the person it was precisely what he needed. "It might have been the best birthday I've ever had," he added. "I took time to reflect on so much and had a moment to genuinely appreciate the life that I have and the incredible people I have in it. I highly recommend taking at least one birthday in your life and keeping it to yourself." he mentioned. "It f--in RULED. And that cake was GOOD."
Which all appears like good advice, the way that he ran straight for it with a fork without pestering with the entire plated cut facade demonstrates that he truly knows what he's saying.
The artist who is currently in Brazil for a tour, got some affection on his special day and his other Voice mentors shared a video wishing him the happiest of birthdays according to People Magazine.
