Mariah Carey Tokyo Show [+VIDEO] Is Highly Criticized Of Malfunction In Every Sense

Mariah Carey Tokyo Show - On Saturday, October 4th, Mariah Carey opened her Elusive Chanteuse World Tour in Tokyo and she was very excited to do so. Still, maybe it was the nerves or something else that made her high notes and microphone malfunction be thoroughly criticized.

Apparently, it was from the very beginning of the show that Mariah Carey started with the left foot, according to many fans. In the video, we can see that the high notes are not exactly perfect and it is one of the great assets that Mariah Carey is famous for. It's as if Christina Aguilera wasn't able to hit the high notes. It's the one thing that makes these two artists particular.

And so, the fans reacted in not such a positive way about the entire show. Many left with a bad taste in their mouths and posted on twitter later on their respective views.

One of them, Elle, twitted, "It's a wrap for Mariah Carey's singing career. You're a legend. Time to retire. She can't sing anymore. At all. What happened?" the Daily Mail noted.

Another one said, "I knew it was something wrong with MC though. No artist lip syncs at EVERY show."

These and other pretty harsh words were spoken about or better said, posted. Mariah Carey is 44 years old. There are a lot of singers out there that still sing and are a lot older, so to ask her to retire is a little bit much.

She has come out from a divorce from Nick Cannon recently, and together they have two 3 year-old twins. The fans debated as some were justifying the quality of her show as a result from undergoing a break-up and divorce at the moment, stating that she is having "a hard time."

Others were not so kind and said that there was no excuse really and that the show was what it was without needing to say anything more.
