McDonalds Hong Kong Launches a Batman Burger

McDonalds Hong Kong is hell bent on absolutely cornering the geek market. And it is doing so the only way it knows how; recalling the entire justice league. After a need for innovation creeped in and the absolute lack of all ideas from the McDonalds creativity department, Batman, the Green Lantern and Superman on my beef burger were recalled to save the day once more.

McDonalds Hong Kong launched the Batman Burger in what we are not sure if is a bid to increase burger market share or an attempt at causing visions of the masked crusader in the customers' minds.

This is, however, not the first attempt at creativity from external fast food chains. Other fast food chains beat McDonalds to the trend. KFC Japan created a slew of fried chicken that was themed as computer and smart phone accessories. Burger King Japan came out with an eye catching black burger. The burger sported a slice of black cheese.

McDonalds Hong Kong would not be left behind and in flew the Batman Burger. The burger is called the diner double beef. The burger has twice as much beef as normal, a mysterious white sauce, a slice of yellow cheese, a fried egg and a steak sauce with edible white objects conspicuously sticking out. Onions?

The burger comes with a side dish called squeezy cheesy fries. The dish is a combination of squeeze-cheese, French fries and bacon bits. I don't think superheroes maintain their fit selves with such high calorie diets. Neither do I think Batman has a double beef fried egg cheese burger with extra toppings and French fries on the side right before he goes wall climbing in Gotham city.

What's truly batman about the dish is the packaging of the meal. The burger get s served in a Batman head box so his steely gaze stares at you while you bite in.
