Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Brought Their A-Game to SNL Last Night, It Was EPIC

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Saturday Night Live veterans, have not been seen on the SNL stage for a long time. But last night, the veterans took the stage and owned it. It's a treat for Saturday Night Live fans!

The duo has always been a fun pair to look at and listen to wherever they go and being back on Saturday Night Live showed they still got the gift.

Whether they're hosting the Golden Globes or just standing beside each other, both female comedians are just up to no good in a good laughable way.

Expectations were high last night before the show unveiled. People anticipated materials that are probably inspired by this year's events. The upcoming elections? The celebrity news? Fans wonder if they are going to step into their Clinton and Palin costumes again? People waited patiently.

At the opening monologue, the duo paid homage to the Olsen twins when they were young and sang a very dark version of a Christmas Carol while dancing merrily.

Poehler and Fey starred in the "Meet Your Second Wife" segment, where they host a game show where unsuspecting men are presented with their future young wives. Obviously poking at the issue about children being married at a young age in certain countries.

Kenan Thompson happily directed a lesbian period comedy adaptation of "Carol" and he acted in another scene where Thompson played Bill Cosby. Fey, showing disgust to "Cosby's" singing of "Baby it's Cold Outside".

And true enough, they brought back Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton to life.

Alongside them, Amy Schumer, Maya Rudolph and Paul McCartney shared the stage with the two female co-hosts and like the comedic pair, they did not disappoint viewers at all, as reported online. But would this be their last time together on the Saturday Night Live stage? Who knows. 2016 is a new year.
