The 23-year-old singer has been spotted with the member of the hottest boy band One Direction several times which ignited the speculations that the two are dating. Contrary to the recent news, Selena Gomez said that they are just friends. Despite their appearances together, there is no romantic relationship going on between them.
During the Billboard's 10th Annual Women in Music which was held in New York, the ET was able to acquire statements from the 'Same Old Love' singer.
"Oh my god! No, I love him, I always have. He's amazing," Gomez stated when asked if she is dating with Niall Horan.
The Selena Gomez and Niall Horan dating rumors were even ignited when photos of the two circulated on the internet. However, the fans became divided when Gomez's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber started posting throwback photos of them together.
Many thought that the 'Where Are You Now' singer is either trying to win Selena Gomez back or deliver a message that no one can date 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' singer except for him.
On Instagram, Selena Gomez made her fans think that she is really dating the One Direction member when she chose to support the album of 1D 'Made In The Am' over Justin Bieber's 'Purpose.'
Meanwhile, the 'Good For You' singer also gave her comments regarding the speculations that she lip synced during her performance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The singer clarified that she sings live.
"Yes I f**king sing live," said Gomez.
The 'Hands To Myself' singer felt the need to defend herself once in a while especially when the news being reported about her are not true.
