The recent 'Victoria's Secret Fashion Show' appeared to be a huge success on TV, but contrary to popular belief, the show actually has reached its lowest ratings this year. Although it is not a show that gets a lot of viewers ever since it started, the hype on the Internet would make anyone think otherwise.
So far, last year's show was the peak of its ratings that it received about 9.1 million viewers that mostly from the age of 18 to 49 have watched according to LA Times. It went up to 3.4 in ratings and it is a huge one, especially for a one-time event like this.
It has not been gaining viewers since 2013, which is its highest compared to last year's show. This just shows that it is declining consistently according to The Inquisitr.
The 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was held in London with a lot of music stars that have won the world like Taylor Swift performing 2 of her hits 'Blank Space' and 'Bad Blood.' Ed Sheeran was also there singing his number 1 hit, 'Thinking Out Loud.' And who would not watch Ariana Grande (Love Me Harder) and Hozier who also graced the stage.
This year, it still was not a bad thing that over 9 million people were glued on their TV sets for the show, but technically it is still nothing compared to the amount of people who watched it 2 years ago. It is a bit frustrating for fans of the product and the show to learn about this since this year was a star-studded one with Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, and Ellie Goulding.
Even reality TV star Kendall Jenner walked the runaway in her underwear and still the ratings were low. Hopefully, next year would pick up.
