Nicki Minaj is starting yet another frenzy when she showed off a huge new diamond on her ring finger, re-igniting the Nicki Minaj Meek Mill engagement rumors.
It was just over the summer when Nicki Minaj first sparked engagement rumors when she posted an Instagram photo of what Wet Paint calls a "heart-shaped canary diamond sparker," which Meek Mill gave as a present to the "Anaconda" rapper.
Of course, the engagement rumors were quickly debunked, stating that the ring was merely a present for Nicki Minaj.
However, it was just a couple of days ago when Nicki Minaj posted yet another huge ring on the same finger on her Instagram account.
The photo was captioned, "Now this is what I'm talking about baby. Lol. Love u [sic] @meekmill ~ RANG finga whr da rock iiizzzzzzzz."
Unfortunately for those wedding onlookers, the new ring was simply a birthday gift from Meek Mill, and not an engagement ring. Talking to Billboard magazine for the December 19 "Year in Music 2015" issue, Nicki Minaj explains:
"He and I are not engaged. But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married. My birthday's coming up, and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday. So let's see what happens."
Nicki Minaj's comments were made before her birthday, and were only posted on the publication's website on Thursday.
According to E! News, a source said that Meek Mill apparently "loves to shower Nicki with Diamonds."
"He always has and always will. She loves diamonds in all shapes and big sizes. It symbolizes his love," the source added.
Billboard further asked what it was like to be in a high-profile relationship, if it had been something she has talked about with her beau. As she gave her answer, Nicki also revealed that she has even sought advice from another high-profile couple, Jay Z and Beyonce:
"Yeah, we speak about it. We actually spoke with Jay Z and Beyonce about it, too. After our show at [Brooklyn's] Barclays Center [in October], we had dinner together. They were so giving with advice. I love them so much. It was just a beautiful conversation to have with people we love and we look up to as a couple. They're so strong."
There you have it, another ring and the next one after that will be that beloved engagement ring.
