The 33 year old Minaj, who has been considered as the most influential female rapper of all time stated, "There are points Donald Trump has made that may not have been so horrible if Trump's approach wasn't so childish. But in terms of entertainment - I think Donald Trump is hilarious. I wish people could just film him running for president. That's the ultimate reality show."

Minaj also praised the presidential run of Hillary Clinton, however, she didn't specifically state whether or not Hillary Clinton has her vote.

Nicki Minaj said that she supported Hillary Clinton as a woman. When asked if she is convinced that the former first lady should be the next president of the United States. She said she wants to be open-minded about everyone. She does identifies with Hillary Clinton's struggles as a woman.

She said that she can relate with the fact that when Hillary Clinton is in the president's room and she's surrounded by men, "there's sometimes something in the American politician that must feel intimidated."

Nicki Minaj went on saying about the former first lady, "But I think that Hillary Clinton uses that and turns it into a strength. Because that's what I've always done. And so I love Hillary Clinton for sticking it out. She has gone through horrifying things, even within her marriage. She has been brave and weathered the storm. And continued being a boss. That's something that every woman should feel inspired by, no matter if you're voting for her or not."
