Adele's grand comeback after a four-year absence in the music industry has been all the world has talked about for weeks, since she released her widely viral new song, "Hello," and later broke all existing records with the launch of the accompanying album, "Hello" - so, of course, minutes after Adele tickets for the first wing of the tour were available, they ran out.
European fans of the Grammy and Oscar-winning singer have taken to social media in anger due to the incredibly quick way Adele tickets for her tour in the continent have sold out.
According to Metro, the rage for Adele tickets in the Old Continent has made many of the concert venues to sell out completely within minutes, with Ticketmaster currently trying to control the resellers as princes have gone up to nearly $1,200 in the most sought-after venues.
"We are aware of our tickets making their way to a secondary site, we will take steps to cancel them,' said a representative for Ticket Factory, another of the companies selling official Adele tickets in the European region. "We can trace them using the serial numbers and have the power to cancel and resell them."
Birmingham Mail reports that resellers haven't been the only problem fans have faced, however, as over the past few days, pre-sale Adele tickets for her Birmingham concert ran out in minutes, and later fans were outraged that, even though they'd camped out to purchase tickets for the concert for two days, they were told upon entrance that they could only buy one.
Because of this, Adele has announced two more dates in the English city.
Forbes reports that the high demand for tickets to the singer's European tour has created a wide variety of prices for all the different dates, with Lisbon (Portugal) and Barcelona (Spain) selling the cheapest tickets at about $139 while the most expensive are in Belfast (Northern Ireland) at about $1,195.
For now, the question remains: when will America get dates and Adele tickets availability?
