Katy Perry gave a young fan the birthday of her life during her special day at an Anaheim gig in California. The special surprise happened on Tuesday evening while performing on her Prismatic World Tour.
Katy Perry brought the fan onstage with her, both of them dressed in colorful body suits decorated with pop art images. The suits were embossed with the words "Happy Birthday" across the shoulders in pink and yellow.
The 29-year-old sat the fan on a special chair that was decorated with painted balloons with a birthday cake rotating round it. The two appeared to be happy and taking pictures.
Later that night, Katy Perry added a green and blue wig with pigtails to her outfit. On the other hand, the fan put on a beautiful birthday cake hat. Candles spread round the cake hat illuminated it, making the whole ensemble breathtaking. The delighted fan couldn't hide her smile as she took photos in front of the Anaheim auditorium that was packed to capacity.
When the star sang her hit, 'Birthday,' she hitched up to a wire and flew across the audience. At that moment, balloons and confetti rained on the delighted crowd.
During the two-hour performance, the star would change her outfit periodically. At another moment, she wore a shiny body suit, pink cat's ears, a white cage skirt and a diamond-covered neck piece.
As she sang her other hit 'Fireworks,' bright lights lit up the auditorium, illuminating the whole audience. For this performance, she was dressed in a trailing skirt adorned with images of rockets and sparklers.
Prismatic is the star's third concert tour aimed at promoting 'Prism,' her 4th studio album. The tour began in Belfast, Northern Ireland on May 7, 2014. The tour is expected to end in Stockholm, Sweden on 22 March next year.
Meanwhile, Katy has scored seven nominations in forthcoming MTV Europe Music Awards. This is one point more than her closest rival Ariana Grande.
