When the SDCC trailer for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' was released a few months ago, there were only a few scenes showing DC's most popular heroes together. However, a new teaser has just revealed that Kal-El and Bruce Wayne really don't like each other that much.
An exclusive sneak peek into a scene from 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' has just been unleashed during the latest episode of 'Gotham,' and it features a lot of tension between the two superheroes. The teaser also has a shocker at the end, something that could lead to a fierce battle in the movie.
The trailer opens with Batman (Ben Affleck) waking up to find himself strung up along with two other men in a mysterious underground bunker covered in sand. Suddenly, Superman (Henry Cavill) swoops in through an overhead entrance and the soldiers standing watch respectfully kneel as he approaches his captive nemesis. The Man of Steel doesn't look very pleased with his prisoner and his displeasure turns into disgusted recognition as he pulls the mask from Batman's head.
Does this mean Superman has captured the Dark Knight to find out his enemy's identity? What will happen to Bruce Wayne in this scene?
Although it looks like Batman is in a rather unfortunate situation, some fans believe that he could be in control in the scene. According to io9, it is possible that Bruce Wayne had planned the meeting as some sort of underground Superman trap.
