Serena Movie - The Project is already finished and waiting to be released. It has multiple dates to launch and it seems like it will be the next big hit and a possible Oscar Nominee.
Serena Movie is based on a novel called Serena as well and it is written by Ron Rash. It was released in 2008 and became a Best Seller. After that, Susanna Bier was set to Direct the movie based on it. She is well-known for directing Brothers (2006), Things We Lost In The Fire (2007), In A Better World (2010) which won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and now she comes with this promising bomb.
Serena Movie tells the story of Serena (Jennifer Lawrence) and George Pemberton (Bradley Cooper) who live in the depression era of the 1930's and George learns that Serena cannot bear children. Complications arise from that fact.
Apparently, Jennifer Lawrence had been the first chosen Actress for the role and after reading her script, she passed it on to Bradley Cooper because they've had a good experience working together in Silver Linings Playbook and they had said that it would be lovely to work together again.
When passing it to him, she asked him if she would star in it with her and clearly, he said yes. Bradley Cooper is interested in building a constant team in his work. He has said it: "I plead guilty to the accusation of working with people again and again. That's the goal, to create an artistic circle that works."
Serena Movie was shot not in the U.S. although the story is set in North Carolina, but in Prague, some other parts of the Czech Republic and Denmark. It must really have beautiful scenes.
Hopefully, the reunion of this couple once again will provide a wonderful experience in Serena and with Susanna Bier, who is especially good with dramas, there isn't much of a doubt.
