Tim Tebow has made a vow to stay chaste until marriage but it seems as if Olivia Culpo just couldn't wait.
After just two months of dating, former Miss USA has reportedly called it quits with her NFL boyfriend because the football star has dedicated himself to abstinence until marriage.
Olivia liked Tim, but reportedly told her friends that she needed to take a knee and get out of the relationship after experiencing his slow as molasses dating style.
Of course, she knew going in to the relationship that she was getting attached to one of the most famous proponents of abstinence in the country, but she allegedly thought that it still might work! Two months later — it's not the case.
The 28-year-old former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is known for being a devout Christian, and has said he is saving himself for marriage.
Tim was apparently devastated. “He was really into her,” a source told the Daily News, “He was sending her love letters and cute notes and professing his love for her. She had to break up with him because she just couldn’t handle it. He still hits her up, but she just can’t deal with the sex thing. He’s pretty adamant about it, I guess.”
On Friday it seemed like Olivia was referring to the break-up as she took to her Twitter to post to her 142K followers: "Being rejected from something good just means you were being pointed toward something better."
The former Miss Universe and NFL star were first linked in September 2015, three months after Olivia broke up with Nick Jonas and things really seemed to be getting serious.
Nick famously wore a purity ring several years ago, and took it off for good earlier this year, just a few months before his breakup with Culpo.
