The 48-year-old singer is reportedly receiving medical treatment after a worrying Sinead O'Connor suicide note about taking an ‘overdose’ was posted on her Facebook page.

In Sinead O'Connor suicide note, she claims that her husband, children and her son’s girlfriend have unleashed “appalling cruelty” on her, and she says it all started when she got a hysterectomy in August. Apparently, she believes they’ve been keeping her babies from her and she finally had enough.
"I have taken an overdose," Sinead O'Connor suicide note read. "There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out. Was dead for another fortnight since none of them bother their hole with me for a minute. I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known."
The upsetting Sinead O'Connor suicide note went on to say that O'Connor feels she's regarded as "scum" and "invisible," before stating "you've finally got rid of me."
O’Conner underwent a hysterectomy in August and cancelled all of her 2015 shows in July to care for her child after he was diagnosed with a “life-threatening illness”. She did not specify the nature of his illness at the time.
In the days prior, O'Connor's Facebook activity referenced the custody battle, her childrens' status as wards of the court and alleged child abuse.
Sinead has four children between the ages of 9 and 28, and she’s currently married to Barry Herridge, a therapist she married in Las Vegas after meeting on the internet.
She has also spoken openly about her mental health issues in the past. She suffers from bipolar disorder and has been hospitalized many times.
