Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2015 Wows New York

The chilling weather could not stop the 89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 26. Even millions of people have come out of their houses and occupied the streets of New York City just to watch the parade.

Everyone is not just expecting the parade but also waiting to see the stars that will participate on the event.

Gloria Estefan was present on the event kicking off the whole parade with hits including "Conga" and "Turn the Beat Around". Shawn Mendes also sang hit songs "Stitches" as this is his very first year to join the annual event.

Delighting the crowd, Andy grammar performed song "Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah)". Mariah Carey, Jordin Sparks, Jennifer Nettles, Trey Songz, Prince Royce, Rachel Platten, Chris Daughtry and Train are the stars that the spectators are waiting for.

No one can fool the fans as they complained about lip-sync allegations made by the singer's performance. Carey and Daughtry are the singers who said lip-syncing.

Daughtry has not denied the allegations rather exposed on her tweeter account that all the performers of the event did 'lip syncing' saying: "And so did EVERYBODY ELSE!"

Giant balloons such as Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Spongebob SquarePants, Ronald McDonald, Pikachu and many more had floated throughout the streets of New York and add a cheerful ambiance. Clowns, dancers and also Mr. and Mrs. Claus also participated in the yearly celebration.

"(There are) things the public will see and, of course, things the public will not see," James P. O'Neill, the New York Police Department's chief of department, said to the newspaper. "All of this will ensure that New York City has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving, as we do every year."
