Leonardo Dicaprio Leading the Best Actor Race for This 2016

Leonardo Dicaprio is leading the Best Actor race in his spectacular performance in 'The Revenant'.

The 41-year-old actor was commended for his greatest performance in the upcoming movie 'The Revenant', an insider says that Leonardo seems to be giving everything he's got for the movie and no one could deny how impressive he was in the shoot. The actor already received tons of praising from many people for his role in the movie.

Not only is Dicaprio receiving tons of praising, the movie is being commended as well and because of Dicaprio's role and performance in the movie he has made him shoot for the leading spot as the best actor in this 2016 race and beat Michael Fassbender to it.

Based on America's top movie critics, Leo is back at the top, taking over Fassbender's throne. Fassbender topped in an odds site GoldDerby.com, right before his latest production Steve Jobs was released in the United States, then again the Danny Boyle biopic was a fiasco in America and may have seem to end Fassbender's dream of being an Academic Award winner.

In the early September this 2015, 'The wolf of wall street' actor topped in GoldDerby.com but was beat by Eddie Redmayne, the 2015 Best Actor winner.

Leonardo Dicaprio is currently supported by half of the film experts at GoldDerby, meanwhile, Fassbender's odds are uncontrollably dropping fast.

The actor portrays Hugh Glass from the movie The Revenant where he was able to survive a brutal bear attack after his hunting mates left him for dead. After surviving the attack, Glass learned how to survive the wilderness alone, keeping in mind that he has to get himself home to his family. His mission was not only to get back home but also to get vengeance. He tracked down those who betrayed him and left him to have his revenge.
