Rocky's Sylvester Stallone As A Mentor In The Boxing Movie "Creed", Movie Gets Rave Reviews

This year has been a great year for entertainment, especially for motion pictures. Although the year has not officially ended yet, most movies already shown and to be shown are of great kinds.

Coincidence or planned out, several movies this year are franchises of the old or classic films. One reason why these things became popular because they brought out memories. Some of the franchise movies that were released this year are "Jurassic World", "Mad Max: Fury Road", and lastly "Creed".

While most sequels or prequels don't get rave reviews as they don't usually live up to their predecessors, these three were an exception because they got praises from movie critics and fans alike. The movie "Creed" is no exception.

According to The New York Times, "Creed" is the seventh entry in the Rocky Balboa's boxing saga. And anyone who watched and was awed by the previous movies will still be awed by it. Viewers will still be swooshed by the punches. Audience will still be captivated by the story line.

"Creed" is another interesting chapter of the life series of the famous Rocky Balboa. The original movie was in 1976, and Rocky Balboa was known as the Italian Stallion. The original movie was "a terrific boxing movie".

The Atlantic shared that Sylvester Stallone will still be starred as Rocky. He is a retired boxing champ, attending his own Italian restaurant. But the film is now focused on the newest star, Adonis Creed, to be played by Michael B. Jordan. Rocky will stand as mentor of Adonis. The twist is that Adonis is the son of Rocky's dead nemesis, Apollo.

"Creed" is directed by Ryan Coogler. The film talks about gaining the justice Adonis' father deserved. The movie also exhibits rarity, it's because the hero is black. It is unusual for a sport movie to have black heroes. "Creed" also shows the good and bad things of being black in America.

The dramatic boxing film gained a satisfying applause from the audience during its recent screening. This is a great movie to watch in Thanksgiving with your loved ones and friends.
