Justin Bieber Cancels Late Show, Thanksgiving Day Parade Appearances

He maybe needs some time to breathe. Justin Bieber has cancelled both of his scheduled guest appearances on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" and his performance in the Thanksgiving Day Parade on Tuesday, November 24, adding that the singer cited his "personal reasons" for calling it off in the last minute, according to reports.

"My apologies to @colbertlateshow as I won't be able to make it to nyc tomorrow for the show," the Canadian singer tweeted Tuesday. "I look forward to making it up to you soon."

Not too long after sending his public apology on his Twitter account, Bieber wrote another tweet, apologizing directly to Stephen Colbert.

"@StephenAtHome thank you for the understanding as sometimes life kicks our ass and we need to deal with it." He wrote. "I will see you soon. Thank you."

During the same day that Bieber cancelled his guest appearance at Stephen Colbert's show, the young singer had also reportedly backed out from the taping of his performance for the CBS's Thanksgiving Day Parade, TMZ reported.

While Bieber hasn't clearly stated his exact reasons for pulling out his scheduled guest appearances on the row, Bieber didn't miss out talking about being into loads of work recently, which can probably be one of the reasons why he seems to be taking some break from work.

During his one-on-one interview earlier this month, the hard-working star had openly discussed about his busy schedule, saying "I've just been travelling a lot, working a lot. I've been really good."

Speaking of hard work, Justin Bieber has been soaring high in several music charts with his newly dropped album "Purpose" with a couple of hit singles hitting the top, including the "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry" and "Where Are U Now".

"Purpose", which happens to be his fourth studio album, has already debuted at the no. 1 spot,  selling out a total of 650,000 copies and surpassing the previous records of The Beatles.
