Australian actor Chris Hemsworth who is known for playing the Norse god 'Thor," was the perfect person for the role since he's got a body built for a god. His physique is just perfect, from the toned muscles on his biceps to his abs, this man can do no wrong when it comes to staying fit. He was even named 'Sexiest Man Alive' last year by People Magazine. But everyone was shocked when his recent post on Instagram completely revealed the opposite of what people know of him from his first appearance in Hollywood.
He was totally unrecognizable with his beard and really thin body, almost as if he didn't eat for days. In short, he does look like a homeless person. But fans should calm down and not react so much about it because there is nothing to worry about since Hemsworth just did it for a movie that he is about to star in.
The actor is not homeless nor did he left himself go for no reason. His drastic weight loss is actually for a movie called 'In The Heart of the Sea.' Where his character is left stuck in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for 3 months.
On his Instagram post, he captioned it with,"Just tried a new diet/training program called Lost At Sea" and "wouldn't recommend it...#IntheHeartoftheSea." It is obvious that he is getting a good laugh out of it.
According to People Magazine, the movie is actually based on a real life story that happened around 1820 when a ship sunk due to the actions of a huge whale. Hemsworth's character Owen Chase, happens to be one of the ship's crew that was unfortunate to get stranded in the middle of the ocean.
