Director Bryan Singer leaked out photos on Instagram, about his much-awaited film, X-men Apocalypse, premiering 2016. The photo consists of Professor Xavier, played by James McAvoy, wearing the Cerebro, or a device that can reach out to mutants. The photo was labeled "Coming Soon", to tease fans for its up coming release.
Pictures of the sets and costumes of some characters in the movie can also be found the Internet. Avid enthusiasts of the movie collect clues to possibly put together what they can understand to be the plot.
In X-men Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant, Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac, awakens after thousands of years. He is disappointed with the world as he forms together a team of powerful mutants to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven, with the help of Professor X, must lead the X-Men to stop their nemesis and save mankind from destruction.
Quicksilver, played by Evan Peter, will make another appearance in this X-men series. He will be racking up a total of 10minuites for his appearance in the movie and will be playing scenes with longer and more detailed sequences. Quicksilver in his last part in "X-men: Days of Futures Past" featured a Slow Motion part that kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
Another new addition to the movie is cast member Olivia Munn, also known for hosting a TV hit series Attack of the Show; will be playing a new character that goes by the name of Psylocke. She spoke in response to a question in a Conan Interview about her character's costume being exactly the same as the comics, and she said "yes, its exactly the same".
Familiar faces will also appear on X-men Apocalypse; Michael Fassbender will be playing Magneto, the character who manipulates steel and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, a mutant that can change its appearance to anyone.
