Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are giving fans a personal look into their lives, as they work on repairing their marriage, following McDermott's xrecent stint in rehab.
People Magazine reported that the couple suffered a terrible blow to their marriage in December after several media outlets reported that the 47-year-old actor cheated on his wife of seven years with a younger woman named Emily Goodhand.
In the teaser clip for their new Lifetime's new six-episode docudrama, "True Tori," the couples tackles reports of McDermott's alleged infidelity head-on. McDermott claimed that he was out of control and used sex as an escape.
"That's my worst nightmare; I cheated on my wife," McDermott said in the clip. "I was out of control...Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol."
As the two are sitting on what appears to be a counselor's couch, Spelling tearfully added, "I could never give him enough sex. He's never going to be happy with just me."
After she said that a confused McDermott asked "You don't think you deserve me?" before reaching over to console his wife.
"I'm well aware this might not have a happy ending," Spelling responded.
In a promotion for the show, the "Beverly Hills 90210" actress is seen walking with the couple's four children, Liam, 7; Stella, 5; Hattie, 2 1/2; and Finn, 19 months/ Cameras follow as the couple works through their marriage crisis and McDermott's subsequent treatment in a rehab center.
"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," McDermott said about checking into an out-patient treatment in January. "I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."
"True Tori" premieres on April 22 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
